過份使用武力，未依足程序開槍、催淚彈：防暴警察在影片20秒至48秒射出催淚彈，在鏡頭中，未見示威者的出現攻擊警方或衝擊警方防線的行為，可是警方沒有停止使用武力，還在短短28秒內起碼射出十發催淚彈，涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。而過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，亦可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。
