李漢民係7月21日元朗恐襲事件當中，帶領警察隊伍係市民報警後長達39分鐘先到達現場。當記者質問李漢民點解咁遲先到嗰時，李漢民只以「我哋睇唔到錶」作為回應，又話記者「你哋咁樣係唔會令我驚㗎」。其後有片段拍攝到李漢民曾經安撫恐佈襲擊施襲者，更向佢哋「搭膊頭」示好。 呢段片顯示咗李漢民對待記者同恐怖份子嘅態度（前半段來源：香港電台）
