2019年8月13日機場衝突當日，警方在晚上 10 時 45 分到達機場，嘗試協助被包圍的男子及救護員離開。到晚上 11 時許，警方陸續撤退，一名警員再進入機場客運大樓，試圖制服一人，但被示威者圍攻，該警員一度舉槍。
