一位市民推單車往新都廣場方向吃飯，途中向迎面而來的警察說了一句「如果呢個政府係不義的，你哋就係維護緊一個不義的政權」。話休，被一名警員喝停，將他強行按在地上，眼鏡也飛脫，十多名防暴警員到場包圍，查他身份證、搜身及查問在現場原因。過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。
