In Yuen Long, New Territories, police officers have repeatedly called reporters “cockcroach” and questioned whether reporters were supported by triad. Also, police refused to show his police number upon request and called that reporter as “Triad Journalist” (Black Journalist).

警方在對示威者對峙期間在民居密集之地（如影片所示）施放催淚彈。從影片中市民陳述，至少有一發催淚彈直接擊中大廈外牆，亦有不少催淚煙波及民居，市民指即使緊閉門戶仍無法阻隔。這涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。而過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，亦可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。
