林家譽係香港警察的一份子。據讀者指出，佢曾經係貴陽參與傳銷「1040 陽光工程，上線為李志龍，兩人在係016年開始拉人上貴陽呃錢，每人呃69800人民幣，參與傳銷嘅相關警察包括（但不限於）：楊澤苗、黃毅洪、廖雙燕、高天煒、陳雪恩。

游乃強係2019年7月22日凌晨四點零一分，係警察圍堵元朗恐佈份子嘅聚集地南邊圍嗰時，走入村內村公密會恐怖份子，無拘捕任何人，及後係五點十一分，佢公開向傳媒表示無發現南邊圍入面有任何人手持攻擊性武器，顯示游乃強身為警察，有份同黑社會合作。游乃強密會恐佈份子嘅情景曾經俾NOW新聞拍攝到並上傳至Facebook，但呢段片曾經離奇消失，及後俾網民重新上傳到YouTube。圖片如下：
