片中大量防暴警察已經進佔私人物業沙田新城市廣場。有記者欲進入商場內部作出採訪，但迅即受到在室內的警務人員所阻擋，多名警察手持長盾，站立在玻璃門前，即使在外的市民多番表明自己是記者有絕對的採訪權，在片段結束前，他們仍未能成功進入商場內。這涉嫌違反警察通例 (39-05)，警務人員應盡可能協助新聞媒體工作者的採訪工作。
