以下為當日相關新聞節錄：【男子指罵警察被帶走 道出個人資料時被警員掩口】 大批市民晚上在旺角警署一帶聚集，大批防暴警察到場驅趕。 期間一名男子指罵警察，有警員上前驅趕，之後數名警員圍住該名男子，有警員其後拘捕他。 該名男子被帶往警署期間，問警員可否借出盾牌遮掩容貌，但被警員拒絕。當這名男子大聲道出個人資料時，有警員用手掩著他的口。 #香港電台 #太子

當日下午，警方在展城館清場。從影片可見，期間一名外籍人士坐在草叢旁，以英語向警員重覆表示“No no no, I cannot move”（「停下，我不能走動」），但警員不但無視該名外籍人士不能行動的狀況，還繼續近距離噴射胡椒水，過份使用武力。這涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。
